Measures: 33x43 cm

Tecnique: oil on silk

Year: 1997

The work seems to seize the moment that anticipates the portrait:the figure on the right appears coming out from the other’s shoulders and the head is slightly bowed, as if it stroke a pose just a few minutes before. The drawing sketches the contours of the figures through a light graceful stroke, thin snake-like lines frame the faces defining their oval shape. Hats, vertically developed, are dematerialized and made thinner as if they were burning flames.
