The dream

Measures: 49x36,5 cm

Tecnique: oil and varnish, canvas on wood

Year: 2012

Really autobiographical work clearly recalling the dream connotation represented by this kind of painting:the work of art, like the dreaming activity, condenses freely associated images, taken from apparently insignificant episodes which have indeed the power to disclose imagination. From the abstractive process that seems to lead to the pure contemplation of colours emerges a fading smile, like the one of Lewis Carroll's Cheshire Cat.
